SpamWeed is the best anti spam product currently available to work with Hotmail. Since v1.5.0 SpamWeed added direct hotmail support. By using the direct hotmail support, you can use your hotmail account as a POP3 account through SpamWeed proxy.
How to setup Hotmail account?
Some email clients like Outlook Express or IncrediMail support Hotmail directly. To use SpamWeed's Hotmail filtering feature, you should not use direct hotmail support in these clients. In any POP3 compliant email program, create a new POP3 account, and set the following parameters:
POP3 Server: 127.0.0.1
POP3 Login: <your hotmail address> (e.g. yourname@hotmail.com)
Password: <your hotmail password>
SMTP Server: <your local ISP's SMTP server>
Please Note:
In some case, your email client reports there are no new mail on server, while you can see new mail in your hotmail account if you logon to the web interface. This is because the Hotmail server is very busy. Please try again later.
